SECRET 7" 2018

Secret7” takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times to 7” vinyl. Then they invite creatives from around the world to interpret the tracks in their own style for every 7”. 700 sleeves are exhibited and sold for £50 apiece. You don’t know who created the sleeve. Or which song it’s for, until you have parted with your cash. The secret lies within. This year it was in aid of Mind at The Jetty.

PRIMAL SCREAM - DAMAGED.

My Interpretation: Begins with funeral music, the waiting, the loneliness and the yearning for lost love. It’s dark inside. The light from outside depicts hope as it’s never over.

My Interpretation: When you lose yourself in someone it feels like you both are one. The ‘I’ gets damaged. You feel happy. You get addicted. You get damaged.
